Privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
This policy explains what information Minaird ("we", "us") collects through minaird.com, how we use it and the choices you have. Minaird is based in Houston, Texas, USA. Questions: sales@minaird.com.
What we collect
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You send the contact form | Name, email, company, your message, the page you came from and your browser type | To reply to you and follow up on your inquiry |
| You start a free Industry Trends month | Name, work email, business, city and industry | To give you your private report link, send your report and follow up about a subscription |
| You browse the site | Pages and sections viewed, time on page, clicks on links and buttons, how much of a video you watch, device type, browser, screen size, language, time zone, the referring site and any campaign tag in the link | To understand which pages help visitors and improve the site |
Our visit log does not record your name, email or IP address. It uses a random ID kept in your browser's local storage so repeat visits can be counted. We don't use advertising cookies and we don't build advertising profiles.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site:
- Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore host the site and store form submissions and the visit log.
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox as email.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Inquiries and sign-ups are kept while we're in touch with you and for up to 3 years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Visit-log records are kept for up to 2 years.
Your choices
- Access, correction or deletion: email sales@minaird.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
- Marketing email: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs within 3 business days.
- Stop the visit log on this browser: open any page once with ?track=off at the end of the address. Use
?track=onto turn it back on. Clearing your browser's site data also resets it.
Clients' customer data
When we run social accounts, apps or platforms for a client, the client owns its customers' data and decides how it's used. We handle that data only to provide our services, under our agreement with the client. Healthcare clients' patient information is handled under the client's own HIPAA policies.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. See also our terms.
